{"id":959246,"date":"2023-04-18T18:37:36","date_gmt":"2023-04-18T22:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsb-staging2.ca-avance.ca\/252-night-caretaker-class-ii\/"},"modified":"2023-04-18T18:37:36","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T22:37:36","slug":"252-night-caretaker-class-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsb-staging2.ca-avance.ca\/en\/252-night-caretaker-class-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"#252 Night Caretaker, Class II"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTICE NO. 252&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;POSTING: 2023.04.17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NIGHT\nCARETAKER, CLASS II (100%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This <strong>regular&nbsp;full time <\/strong>position\nis presently available at the following elementary schools: John Adam Memorial\nschool located at 120 mont\u00e9e des Bouleaux, in Delson and St.Lawrence school\nlocated at &nbsp;148 Champlain Blvd in Candiac\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NATURE OF WORK:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carry out maintenance work according to\nthe Caretaking Handbook and under the direction of the School and Center\nAdministration and the Day Caretaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>cleaning\n     the premises and seeing to the proper operation of the heating,\n     ventilation, lighting systems,<\/li><li>maintenance\n     apparatus and equipment;<\/li><li>surveying\n     the operation of the type of heating equipment which does not require the\n     presence of a stationary engineer;<\/li><li>carrying\n     out certain maintenance work such as: some snow removal, repairs to doors,\n     windows, furniture;<\/li><li>taking\n     all necessary measures to assure adequate security against fire and theft;<\/li><li>controlling\n     comings and goings of visitors, students and personnel in certain specific\n     cases and according to requirements;<\/li><li>supervising\n     the work performed by other non-specialised employees;<\/li><li>performing\n     any other related task, if need be.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At least three years of pertinent\nexperience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have a general knowledge of the\noperation of the heating, ventilation, lighting and alarm systems that a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">night caretaker oversees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have a basic knowledge of the main\nbuilding trades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be able to communicate in English\nand in French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Must be able to work with a minimum of\nsupervision and\/or frequently un-supervised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A medical certificate confirming that\nthe candidate is physically capable of doing the job will be required<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">for all outside candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SCHEDULE:&nbsp;<\/strong>Monday to Friday, from 3:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at John Adam\nMemorial school with a 30-minute meal break from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. &amp; 8:30\np.m. to 12:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence School, with a period of 15 minutes to\ntravel&nbsp;between the two schools from 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SALARY:&nbsp;<\/strong>$875.36 for a 38.75-hour week + evening premium of $0.75 per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"mailto:riversidecv@rsb.qc.ca\">Click here to apply before 4:00pm on April 21, 2023.
