In terms of technology, some of the key\ndossiers include the technology infrastructure, security of information and\nsystems, computer hardware and software and the use of technology for teaching\nand learning. As a member of this team, you will contribute to these important\nareas of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NATURE OF THE WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nposition of IT analyst encompasses, in particular, responsibility for the\nanalysis, development, coordination and control of systems, security, methods,\nprocedures and programs pertaining, among others, to administrative\norganization and operations, communication structures, data processing by\ncomputer or by other means and the rational use of school board resources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nselected candidate will contribute to the work of the Educational and Technology\nServices team towards offering quality services to the entire Riverside\ncommunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DUTIES:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The successful candidate performs the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conducts the\nnecessary analyses to meet the community&#8217;s needs in information; presents statistics and prepares documents or\nreports, and oversees the use and update of databanks;<\/li><li>Assesses,\nidentifies and recommends options after a detailed analysis of the current\nsituation and existing systems in order to improve not only the services\nprovided to the users but also to implement better architectural approaches\n(installing and testing the upgrades and patches for the relevant applications);<\/li><li>Configures\nand manages system server environments in physical, virtual and cloud.<\/li><li>Configures\nand manages system backups <\/li><li>Develops\nand maintains the telecommunication infrastructure;<\/li><li>Configures\nand manages the telephone systems;<\/li><li>Migrates\ntelephone systems to the cloud;<\/li><li>Manages\nthe internet firewall to maintain network security;<\/li><li>Provides\nadvice and support to the management staff of services and educational establishments\nand assists where possible in assessing possible workarounds, process changes\nand resolutions;<\/li><li>Prepares\ntest data and carries out the testing of the programs in accordance with test\nstrategies established by the industry norms;<\/li><li>Acts\nas liaison with GRICS and other software vendors to ensure upgrades, update of\nprograms and to resolve anomalies as required;<\/li><li>Ensures\nthat deadlines are respected and proposes the required corrective measures;<\/li><li>Work\nin collaboration with outside organizations to migrate data to the cloud. <\/li><li>Any other related task.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>REQUIRED\nQUALIFICATIONS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in an appropriate specialty, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Computer science <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OTHER\nREQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Is able to work collaboratively, within a team setting;<\/li><li>Has excellent interpersonal skills;<\/li><li>Is able to seek out and to share information;<\/li><li>Demonstrates autonomy and strong organizational skills;<\/li><li>Communicates with ease in both English and French (spoken and written);<\/li><li>Can explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences;<\/li><li>Has excellent problem-solving skills, and experience researching and evaluating a      variety of software products;<\/li><li>Demonstrates creative and innovative thinking approaches; <\/li><li>Has an ability to identify needs and provide pertinent support and training to users; <\/li><li>Understands relevant and emerging technologies and industry trends.<\/li><li>Has experience namely with VMware, VEEAM, Cisco Call Manager and Unity <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SCHEDULE:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>To\nbe discussed, 35-hour week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SALARY:\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per the collective agreement for professionals,\nfrom $48&nbsp;689.00 to $83&nbsp;462.00 on an annual basis, according to\nqualifications and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"mailto:riversidecv@rsb.qc.ca\">Click here to send your resum\u00e9.
