ELIGIBILITY TO TRANSPORTATION<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The status of eligibility for transportation is determined by the primary address <\/strong>in the student’s file. Transportation is provided to students who reside on our territory <\/a>and who meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Kindergarten <\/strong>students who reside at a walking distance of 0.8 km or more from the school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Elementary <\/strong>students (Grade 1 to 6) who reside at a walking distance of 1.6 km or more from the school. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. High School <\/strong>students (Secondary 1 to 5) who reside at a walking distance of 2 km or more from the school. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    BUS STOP LOCATION:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Students will not be required to walk more than the distance shown below from the nearest point of access from their property to the bus stop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Kindergarten <\/strong>400 meters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Elementary <\/strong>(Grade 1 to 6) 800 meteres <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. High School <\/strong>(Secondary 1 to 5) 800 meters <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n\n\n\n

      MTRANSPORT<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Parents can monitor their child’s movements on the bus by receiving notifications whenever the vehicle has left the previous stop and when their child has boarded or disembarked from the bus. Students must use the card that was assigned to them (we recommend attaching it to the school bag).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Parents must use the Transportation Department\u2019s online platform<\/a> for the following transportation requests (you must first create an account, then make your request):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. available seat<\/strong> (for students who are out of zone or who are walkers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. second address<\/strong> (i.e. babysitter, grandparent)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. change of bus stop location<\/strong> (for safety reasons)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. questions<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \n\n\n\n

          CHANGE OF ADDRESS:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          St. Johns parents must send the following information to svasilopoulos@rsb.qc.ca<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          1. Child\u2019s name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. The exact moving date<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. The type of address (mother & father, mother only, or father only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Phone number(s) (home, work, cell)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. If transportation is required in the morning, after school, both, or none<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Parents must then bring two original proofs of residence to school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Accepted proofs of residence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
