Throughout the world, Canada is known as a modern, progressive nation with an open and generous society and a country that upholds its international commitments.\u00a0 Canada is also regarded as a nation that respects the contributors and individuality of different cultures.<\/p>\n<p>Canada has two official languages, English and French.\u00a0 English is the mother tongue for 58.5% of the population and French is the mother tongue of 23%.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Qu\u00e9be<\/strong>c is known as &#8220;la belle province&#8221; (the beautiful province) to its locals.\u00a0 Qu\u00e9bec is Canada&#8217;s largest province and home to approximately 7, 600 000 people on a landmass of 1 700 000 km<sup>2.\u00a0 <\/sup>It is three times as big as France and five times as big as Japan.\u00a0 The great urban metropolis of Montr\u00e9al accounts for nearly half of Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s population while Qu\u00e9bec City, the capital of the province of Qu\u00e9bec, has a population of about 700,000.<\/p>\n<p>Qu\u00e9bec is a vibrant multicultural province, often earning it recognition as the &#8220;Europe of North America&#8221;.\u00a0 Experience Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s European flair and rich heritage!\u00a0 French is the language spoken at home by 83% of Qu\u00e9becers, while 11% speak English and 6% speak another language.\u00a0 Qu\u00e9bec is also famous for its vast forests, rolling hills and countless waterways.\u00a0 In fact, Qu\u00e9bec as over 1,000,000 lakes and waterways, giving it more fresh water than any other province.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie<\/strong> is known for its vineyards, orchards, spectacular panoramas, delicious products, as well as the Monteregian Mountains, from which it draws its name.\u00a0 The region is both urban (second in terms of population) and rural.\u00a0 The\u00a0Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie economy \u00a0is based on agriculture and the production of goods and services.\u00a0 Tourism also makes up a significant portion of the economy.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n<p>Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie geographic region is bordered by the Saint-Laurence River to the North, the states of New York and Vermont to the South, Estrie and Centre-du-Qu\u00e9bec to the East (Qu\u00e9bec city is 120 km East), and Ontario to the West (Ottawa is 100 km West).\u00a0 The Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie region wraps around the island of Montr\u00e9al in the South West.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n<p>In terms of climate, the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie area, located in the country&#8217;s southern border, is characterized by mild springs, warm summers, pleasantly crisp autumns and invigorating cold winters.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie region offers excellent opportunities to learn French and English in an immersion atmosphere that includes many cultural and fun sporting activities all year round!<\/p>\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"HEIGHT: 98px;
